Morgan Michie – FCCA, CTA, FTIA
Morgan qualified as an associate of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in 1995, becoming a Fellow in 2001. He is also an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation (UK) (qualifying in 1991) and a Fellow of the Institute of Taxation Australia.

Morgan’s previous employment was as a tax consultant to Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, a large international law firm, based in the UK, advising the firm on international tax matters and compliance obligations, specialising in the tax implications of recently arrived or departed individuals to or from the UK.

He has been with DFK Gray Perry since September 2005, where he has advised several clients with regards to their tax residency position, together with the related implications. In addition Morgan has prepared accounts and income tax returns for a range of local clients, dealing in particular with Self Managed Superannuation Funds (and the auditing thereof) and assisting businesses by providing a “benchmarking” service where results are compared with those of other local and interstate competitors.

Morgan spends most of his spare time looking after his three dogs and getting up at unearthly hours in the morning to follow the fortunes of his beloved Crystal Palace Football Club (a slightly less than successful English soccer team !).

Emily Yarwood – B.Com
Emily joined DFK Gray Perry in November 2001 and has worked in the accounting and tax industry since September 1991. Since joining the team Emily has completed a Diploma of Accounting at TAFE SA and in 2013 Emily graduated from the University of South Australia, completing a Bachelor in Commerce.

Emily’s expertise lies in assisting the partners with preparation of tax returns, financial accounts and auditing as well as experience using accounting software programs, including MYOB, Cashflow Manager, Quickbooks and Simple Fund.

Emily enjoys Ballroom, Latin American, Rock n’ Roll and Irish Dancing, food & wine, travel, the arts and spending time with family.

Adele Whiting
Adele has been with DFK Gray Perry since 1998. She started as Office Junior and has progressed to Accountant. She has completed her Advanced Diploma of Accounting through TAFE SA.

Adele is experienced in all aspects of journal processing through to preparation of Financial Accounts.

Adele has a broad knowledge in the preparation of Tax returns for business entities and Individuals.

As well as attending to the Accounting requirements of clients, Adele is experienced in the preparation of Australian Securities and Investments Commission documentation.

Adele’s personal interests include spending quality time with family and friends and looking after her young son Jack and new baby Eva. Adele also enjoys movies, camping, walks and home improvements.

Sarah Wu – CPA
Sarah joined DFK Gray Perry in May 2011. Sarah graduated from the University of Adelaide in 2006, completing a Bachelor in Commerce (major in accounting) and has since completed her CPA.

In her spare time Sarah enjoys playing badminton, swimming and travelling. top

Jason Gall
Jason joined DFK Gray Perry in 2013 after completing a Bachelor in Commerce (double major in accounting and management) at University of Adelaide.

Jason is currently studying the CA program and has experience in the preparation of Tax Returns.

Jason spends his spare time with family and friends, swimming, hiking and gaming.

Robert Overall – ACCA
Rob joined DFK Gray Perry in July 2014. He is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and has over 15 years experience in the accounting profession.

During his career Rob has dealt with clients operating in various industries including: Primary Production, Manufacturing, Retail and Recruitment.

He is very experienced in the preparation of financial statements and tax returns as well as assisting clients with their periodic reporting obligations and the operation of their accounting systems.

In his spare time Rob spends time with his fiancé, walking their dogs, playing golf and cycling.
