Announced in December 2021, additional support measures are in place for businesses that have been impacted by health restrictions and density limits. These support measures were extended for January 2022 and provide additional funding for impacted businesses.
Support measures include:
- Automatic payments of up to $22,000 for tourism and hospitality businesses that previously received the COVID-19 Tourism and Hospitality Grant and gym operators that received the Additional COVID-19 Business Support Grant.
- Further one-off grants of up to $22,000 for eligible tourism and hospitality businesses and gym operators that experienced a reduction in turnover of 30%.
- Grants of up to $16,000 for other eligible businesses that experienced a reduction in turnover of 50%.
- Grants of up to $100,000 for major events scheduled between 27 December 2021 and 27 January 2022 that were cancelled or postponed due to density restrictions.
Applications will open through RevenueSA and close on 31 March 2022.
